This personal injury law firm client came to us with a Google Ads pay-per-click ("PPC") campaign that was being managed by a big PPC brand agency and only bringing in about nine (9) leads per month. This was August, 2020. By mid-September, 2020, we had built client's new PPC campaign, including creating a lead-pulling landing page using our proven template to do so, optimized the campaign and already started generating leads. The Challenge
The main challenge client was facing was that their campaign was not completely built out and did not have the proper negative keywords in place to funnel in only the high-converting traffic. Very similar to DUI law firm PPC clients, personal injury PPC can also be very expensive on a cost-per-click basis, ranging from $15-$75+. That may sound like a lot, however, for how valuable these leads are, that's chump change. What we did was first conduct deep keyword and competition research to build out our new client's campaign as it should've initially been done by the big brand PPC agency. We also built out several high-level Ads groups, along with some quality ads running special offers and dressed with lots of clickbait. As a result, the first week's outcome was nothing short of spectacular.
The Difference
We built out a full lead capture 1-page website (see above left image) to funnel all traffic directly into becoming either a phone call lead or web form lead. Our Campaign Approach and Success Strategy
Our strategy for this client was simple. We conducted in-depth research and then tailored keywords, Ad Groups, ads and created a customized landing page to that research and sent traffic into the funnel. A very high percentage of leads - 76.56% - are phone calls, which is even better! Once the campaign was built and our funnel was in place, we began flooding it with traffic at the funnel's top and churned out leads through its bottom. We then carefully reviewed the weekly ads data and modified the campaign as needed and scaled it accordingly. We also cut costs we felt was not optimized spend and increased costs when when we could expand to get more leads for a cheaper cost-per-lead or CPL.
